Executive Function Coaching for Students and Young Adults
Located in Springfield, NJ and provide in-person consultations and in-home executive function coaching throughout Union and Middlesex counties and surrounding areas, as well as online coaching sessions for families who prefer virtual support.
Supporting students with executive functioning challenges begins with equipping educators with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to recognize and address these needs in the classroom. I offer professional development opportunities for schools and districts designed to help teachers better understand executive functioning, neurodiversity, and the practical strategies that promote student success.
Drawing from my experience as a literacy interventionist, graduate studies in executive functioning, and firsthand experience supporting neurodiverse learners, I provide engaging, research-based training that educators can immediately apply in their classrooms.
Professional development topics may include:
-
Understanding Executive Functioning Skills and Their Impact on Learning
-
Supporting Students with ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Other Learning Differences
-
Classroom Strategies for Organization, Time Management, and Task Completion
-
Executive Function Supports for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students
-
Building Student Independence and Self-Advocacy
-
Effective Accommodations and Modifications for Neurodiverse Learners
-
Supporting Emotional Regulation and Student Engagement
-
Creating Executive Function-Friendly Classrooms
-
Strengthening Home-School Partnerships for Student Success
Training sessions can be customized to meet the unique needs of individual schools, grade levels, departments, or district initiatives. Professional development may be offered as single workshops, half-day or full-day trainings, ongoing coaching cycles, or collaborative consultation with school teams.
My goal is to empower educators with practical, realistic strategies that help students develop the executive functioning skills necessary to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. When teachers understand how executive functioning impacts learning, they are better equipped to create supportive environments where all students can succeed.
Together, we can build stronger systems of support for students, families, and educators while fostering inclusive learning environments that recognize and celebrate the strengths of every learner.
